During Paryushan 2018 in Adelaide - Australia, Shri Shreyanshbhai Shah (a Vir-Sainik came from Ahmedabad) conducted a Girnar Tirth Bhav Yatra in a Sangh. He gave inspirational speech and emphasised that every member should do something for Girnar Tirth, and think about how they can use their own skill or expertise towards a Girnar Tirth development. That's when the idea for Girnarji App was born. With the blessing of Neminath dada and approval from Shreyanshbhai, Kaushal decided take this idea forward. He took responsibility to design the app concept, and project execution. Over this journey, other team members and supporters joined and contributed their time and knowledge whereas possible.
Shri Adelaide Shwetabar Jain Sangh (ASJS) is very active sangh in Adelaide, Australia, where member feel like a one small family. ASJS facilitate and conducting many events, festivals, and rituals round the year including kids and adults pathshala, oli, paryushan, weekly pooja and Arti and so much more and with that reason ASJS has become a home for many members over the time. When come to this app, as soon as the idea shared with them they started believing in it, shown their interest and offered full support to its potential. Not only that but they offered a biggest support of sponsoring this app to cover the initial development and setup cost. On top of all these, committee members have shared number of valuable inputs and feedback as the app progressed.
Girnar Darshan is a 100% volunteer driven and non profit organization with a vision to spread awareness about Girnarji through their website www.girnardarshan.com. All their 110 volunteers are ardent devotees of Neminath Bhagwan. Their inspiration is PP Acharya Hemvallabh Suri MS.
Girnar Darshan has provided us all the beautiful content including photos, videos, and audios to make this application more informative and attractive.
Right after the app launched, the big responsibility shifted to CA Rahulbhai Shah and CA Parshwabhai Shah to manage funds, bookings, account auditing, looking over contributions, organizing Girnar Yatra, and giving devotees best experience. Rahulbhai and Parshwabhai are dedicated to Girnar and contributing for Girnar Tirth for a long time. With a consideration that this app reaches to its maximum potential and every single Jain NRI take advantage of it, they have taken these responsibilities.
We are very thankful to Himanshu, Raj, and Bhupendra from the mobile app development team, Bhadresh and Giriraj from the design team. They have put lot of efforts, gone beyond and above all the terms we had, and at times they have worked after hours or late night or over the weekends to make the project successful.
